Bangladesh have emerged as a real good team in last few years. Their progress as an International team was really slow and questioned. Recently they reached the finals of Asia Cup 2016. They have a point to prove and they may fancy their chances of making it again to the knock out stage. They will face Netherlands in their first match of T20 World Cup 2016.

Netherlands too are known to create upsets. How can one forget their win over England in 2009 and a repeat in the last edition of T20 world cup. Bangladesh may look a better outfit but Netherlands can turn tables on them.

The second match would be played between Ireland and Oman. Ireland is another contender well known for upsets. Not to far in history, they defeated West Indies in the ICC World cup 2015. Likes of Stirling, Boyd Ranking, Kevin O'Brien and William Porterfield make Ireland very strong in the associates and minnows. Sunil Joshi, retired Indian spinner will play the role of an specialist coach for Ireland.

Oman did a good job to reach the qualifiers of Asia Cup 2016. They couldn't manage to be the best of that lot and failed to qualify for the Asia Cup. They got another opportunity to try their best and prove a point in the T20 world cricket.
